Phase 3 work successfully completed

The new BODYCOMBAT NLBE Fanpage | BCv4

It has been a while since I shared an update on the new generation of our framework: BCv4.

The past month was entirely dedicated to developing, optimizing, and fine-tuning new features, improvements, and additional capabilities within Phase 3. Everything proceeded according to schedule and without significant delays.

And I am proud to report:

⚡ Phase 3 has been successfully completed!

I deliberately kept the work on BCv4 as much as possible “behind the scenes.” This allowed me to develop new ideas, create features, test extensively, and further refine everything before it becomes visible to visitors of the Fanpage.

With this update, I would like to take you through the development of BCv4 and show you what has been accomplished over the past few months.

Phase 1 — Foundation

May 2026

During the first development phase, the foundation was laid for the new generation Fanpage.

✅ BCv4 designed and developed from a 3D concept sketch
✅ New framework structure set up based on GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks
✅ Official branding colors applied, fitting within the branding of Les Mills and Les Mills BODYCOMBAT
✅ Completely renewed content structure developed with more calm, overview, and clarity
✅ Foundation laid for future expansions and optimizations

Phase 2 — Content & Structure

June 2026

In phase 2, the focus was on content, functionality, and usability.

✅ Releases and tracklists collected and processed
✅ Complete Tracklists Database developed and populated
✅ New filter and search options added
✅ Home pages provided with new content
✅ Improved structure and content layers realized
✅ Shorter texts combined with more visual elements
✅ Clear CTA buttons added for better navigation
✅ Trailer pages built and integrated
✅ Various new pages developed and added
✅ Preparations made for community interaction surrounding news articles
✅ Contact, feedback, and Tips & Tops forms set up
✅ External links linked to official channels of Les Mills Global, UK, NLBE, Les Mills+, and adidas

Phase 3 — Optimization, Privacy & Performance

Completed on July 10, 2026

The third phase was entirely dedicated to optimization, performance, and a strong privacy-first approach.

✅ Cookie notice set up and configured
✅ Privacy statement drafted
✅ Cookie policy drafted
✅ Terms and conditions published
✅ Disclaimer added
✅ “About our Fanpage” page developed
✅ Google Fonts completely disabled
✅ Local fonts installed and forced load
✅ Images converted to WebP format and optimized
✅ Extensive plugin audits performed
✅ Various performance optimizations implemented
✅ Privacy-first configuration and vision implemented across the entire Fanpage

Phase 4 — Finalization

Start: August 21, 2026

We are now arriving at the final phase of BCv4. Actually, this is less of a development phase and more of a completion and launch phase in which everything is dotted with the i’s.

✅ Final optimizations and configurations
✅ Migration to the definitive .nl root domain
✅ Final quality control
✅ Preparation for the official go-live

A short break

After months of designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and building the fourth generation of the BODYCOMBAT NLBE Fanpage, I am first taking a short break.

Starting August 18, 2026, the final work on Phase 4 will begin, and we will work towards the official launch of BCv4.

The end of development is in sight — and the beginning of a new chapter for the BODYCOMBAT NLBE Fanpage and BODYCOMBAT Worldwide Fanpage is drawing ever closer.
